A few years ago I wrote about getting the Citrix Receiver working on Ubuntu 11.04 64-bit. Back then you had to manually install it.
Now I’m on 12.10 and things have gotten a whole lot easier.
There’s a guide over at the help.ubuntu.com community telling you how to install. I got some error-messages trying to install the package, but just click Ignore and continue and everything worked out fine.
I had to install some extra security certificates so I followed the guide and linked the firefox certificates to the Citrix certificate directory with the following command:
sudo ln -s /usr/share/ca-certificates/mozilla/* /opt/Citrix/ICAClient/keystore/cacerts/
That didn’t get my Citrix-login working, telling me I was missing a certificate. So I googled around a bit and found out I could download it here:
