Today I started doing something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time, getting ICS (Android Ice Cream Sandwich) on my Galaxy Tab. I’ve been really looking forward to getting this from Samsung, but I’ve been waiting and waiting, so now I got tired and decided to try with a non-original ROM.
I’ve been reluctant to do this in fear of breaking the device, but now I got to test it on a Samsung Galaxy S mobile phone and the setup wasn’t really that hard. In fact, it all went really smooth. Not so with the Tab.

The last few weeks we’ve experienced a number of database errors. This has rendered the site unavailable from time to time.
I’m looking into it and it will hopefully stabilize soon.
So, you need to reboot your remote desktop computer from work or some other place, and all that startmenu’s got for you is a damn Logout button. What do you do?
Well it’s actually quite simple.

- Shutdown: “shutdown -f”
- Reboot: “shutdown -r -f”
It’s been a long time in the making, though Apple have finally announced the release of iOS 5 just 1 day shy of Steve Jobs death.
Among the new features is a notification center, iMessage for cross-platform messaging across all iOS devices and a tabbed browser.
You can upgrade now by using the Gold Master (release candidate) by following the instructions on Lifehacker: Upgrade to iOS 5 Right Now
I’m itching to get my hands on it, though I’m going to play it safe and wait until the 12th of October, which is the official release date.
Have you tried out the GM or are you waiting for the official release? Please leave your thoughts and experiences in the comments below!

These are situated in a small closet in my living room.

I googled around a bit for solutions, and I found this http://www.dealextreme.com/p/usb-digital-thermometer-dongle-software-displays-temperature-7003
So I thought, $8.8, free shipping, what the hell, I’m ordering it.
